No.4

No. 4 is for the slightly more experienced match fisherman, offering a similar experience to No.2 & No.3 but with a bit more weight. The average carp being about 2lb bigger than the aforementioned ponds, with a number of doubles to be had. Not only are the fish of a bigger stamp, No.4 also has plenty of potential snags, it has the most sets of lilies pads outside of Rushy Bottom, plenty of reed beds and overhanging trees to test your angling skills.

Lots of fun to be had fishing tight against the pads with a pole but be prepared for a good fight. As the same with most of our ponds, sweetcorn, pellet and maggot will produce all year round.
