Rushy Bottom

Completed in 1989, Rushy Bottom is the largest of our ponds at 2.5 acres. Situated between Broadhurst and the Mill pond, Rushy Bottom offers a tranquil spot for a day of undisturbed fishing.

Original intended to be a silvers only lake, it now offers a small range of Carp topping the 25lb mark. Bream and Tench tend to be the target species with both offering weights above 5lb. Also to be had are Rudd, Roach, Perch, Eels, Gudgeon and BIG pike.

Scattered with lily pads, reeds in the margins, an island and a variety of depths, Rushy Bottom offers a mixed bag of fish. Sweetcorn, small pellets and maggot are a favoured bait here.
